Vital Porn Shoot Travel Info & Tips
In Porn World put your Safety, Comfort & Well Being above all else.

I actually found myself re-writing and re-organizing this website several times in order to be able to properly include this section of information when it comes to getting into the porn industry. Why? Because it's VITAL.

I've found that it's through the pure element of "location unfamiliarity", that most women getting into the porn industry find themselves getting into SERIOUS TROUBLE and into SITUATIONS that they CAN'T HANDLE.

There are many EVIL PEOPLE WHO CALL THEMSELVES "AGENTS", but in actuality are far from it, who lure women with the promise of making "thousands of dollars in a matter of a few days" to travel to places in which they are TOTALLY OUT OF THEIR ELEMENT, and into SITUATIONS THAT ARE COMPLETELY FOREIGN TO THEM, because it's essentially a way for these dangerous con-men (who are often pimps running illegal prostitution rings) to coerce (if not force) the woman into doing things that she normally wouldn't even entertain doing.

Placing an individual in unfamiliar surroundings is also a tactic of mind control which is a form of abuse.

As I wrote this, I decided to add a section to this site which covers the concept of mind control which has been used very effectively over the years by organizations of all sorts in order to control and manipulate women (and people in general) - I know it sounds "crazy" and "fanatical" and "conspiracy based", but I've witnessed it. Please read the "Porn Industry Danger & Problems" area of this site.

Here's the bottom line, if you are not from either Miami or the Los Angeles areas (which are the 2 major porn studio base locations), or even the Minor Porn Studio bases such as Phoenix, Las Vegas or New York, and you have NEVER visited either city for an extended amount of time before, then you will basically feel as though you are visiting another PLANET.

I am not trying to scare you, I'm just relating my feelings, thoughts and experiences along with what I've observed of other women getting into porn.

The general populace is more sophisticated in major cities than in other areas of the country. There is a substantial difference in mentality from the East Coast to the West Coast. When you throw in the fact that you are in PORN WORLD on top of all of this unfamiliarity, it CAN BE OVERWHELMING.

Here are some suggestions and tips to keep you safe, comfortable, well and sane.

Overpack Many studios require that you have your own wardrobe for shoots anyways (as I outline in "Your PornShoot Toolbox"), so the more you pack the better. Don't be afraid to bring a few comforts of home, yea your luggage may be heavy but you'll feel better in the long run.
Inform someone or multiple people you trust of where you are going, what you are doing and when you are expected to return. Getting Into the porn industry should never be a "secret mission". Ever heard of the trafficking of women to other countries? It happens to AND from the USA. Let people know the exact dates, times and addresses of where you are going, and when you will return. Call to check in with these people each day. If something bad were to happen, you'd be glad you did.
Know and research your intended destination. Don't let anyone tell you that your "accommodations haven't been confirmed" yet. If whoever is arranging your travel for you (and I strongly urge you remain in control of your OWN travel and accommodations) can't give you clear answers then DON'T GO!
Be in control of your travel plans and travel tickets. I know it's tempting now to have to pay out of pocket right away for your own airline tickets and hotel, but by you doing so yourself you will probably not only save money, but you'll also have the peace of mind of knowing exactly where you'll be and when.
Retain possession of your IDs DO NOT let ANYONE hold on to your IDs when you travel. There is NO REASON why anyone would EVER need to.
Trust NO ONE In the porn world, you'll meet some really cool, charismatic and charming people. Some will be genuine, most will not be.  Remember, a real friend earns your trust over time.
Have access to backup emergency money. In the "Your Pre-Porn Situation" area I mentioned that you should NOT get into the porn industry if you are down to $0. Why? Because it makes you easy prey to EVIL people who want you to be in debt to them and make you a SLAVE.
Have an "escape plan". No matter where you are, assess your situation and create a mental emergency escape plan. You might not need it, but then again, you may.
Make sure you have a phone and/or laptop. It has always amazed me how many women in the adult industry don't have either. AT LEAST have a cell phone. Buy a prepaid one. They are cheap. You need to be able to contact someone in an emergency and in porn world, emergencies can happen ANYTIME.
Know your shoot schedule in advance. A good agent or agency will put together a shoot schedule for you if you have multiple shoots scheduled in advance. If this is not the case, DO NOT GO unless you are funding your trip independently. Everyday you are out of town not working costs you money and could incur debt to whoever is funding your trip if you don't fund it yourself.
Have access to a bank account in the area you are shooting to deposit your earnings. It's not safe to walk around with hundreds of dollars on you. It's also not safe to leave money unattended in a hotel room or model house or with anyone else you have just met.
Try to have an "emergency contact" in the area of which you are visiting. If possible, have the name and contact information of someone outside of your agent in the city you are traveling to just in case you need help.
Know the phone numbers of the local police and hospitals of where you are visiting. If you don't have an "emergency contact" in the area you are visiting, do you research and store in your phone or write down the numbers of the police station and hospitals in your area. Also the number of a local cab/taxi company is a good idea.
If your gut tells you something is wrong - GET OUT! This might sound "silly" and "paranoid" but trust your instincts and women's intuition. If you don't feel right about your surroundings - leave.
Just say no to drugs. Keep your mind clear. A clear head is vital when traveling to an unfamiliar area. Don't cloud your judgment with substances when you need to keep your wits about you.

The above tips should keep you pretty safe. I am not trying to scare you, these are just the facts as I know them based off of my personal experiences and observations.

Many women get into the porn industry and travel to the Major & Minor Porn Studio areas regularly to work without any trouble or problems at all, however my goal with this site is to educate you and open your eyes as to the worst possible situation, because no one did the same for me.

I'm a strong believer in sharing knowledge from life experience with others.
